A pitch spell is any spell with rules text that allows it to be cast for an alternative cost which includes discarding or exiling ("pitching") at least one card from its owner's hand.[1]

Pitch spells were first printed in Alliances.[2] Pitch spells are usually printed in cycles, with the exception of Snapback, the only pitch spell in Time Spiral.
