Queza, the Augur of Agonies, is a Cephalid advisor from Capenna. She is the best Exactor in the Obscura.

Queza serves as Kamiz's apprentice and right hand. She is personable and friendly and believes the angels will return to New Capenna. The bioluminescent markings along her neck pulse a deep violet. She wears a long coat with a dagger-shaped fringe and carries a milky-white talisman with a halo inside.[1]
History[ | ]
The spymaster Kamiz and her apprentice Queza experienced a powerful vision alongside other seers, heralding cryptic omens of "kittens hiding the cream" and "gold in the water." Investigating the phenomenon, they uncovered that Lacey Lanine, a reporter with the Capenna Herald, had orchestrated an experiment involving stolen Halo. This experiment led to a city-wide vision that even affected the powerful demon Raffine. The seers’ visions appeared identical and simultaneous, suggesting an attack on their abilities. As Kamiz pursued the truth, she found Lacey mentally incapacitated, her mind wiped.[1]
During their investigation, Queza and Kamiz discovered evidence pointing to the involvement of Lagrella the Magpie, a Broker, in a complex scheme involving stolen Halo and a prophetic vision foretelling New Capenna's potential destruction. The situation escalated when Tivit's shop was attacked, and Queza narrowly avoided being crushed by a collapsing balcony, saved only by Kamiz's magic. Despite a heated argument leading to Kamiz temporarily dismissing Queza, they ultimately reconciled after uncovering Lagrella's plot. Using clever illusions and a mirror to expose loopholes in contract magic, Kamiz and Queza force Lagrella to nullify a binding contract, thereby restoring Lacey Lanine's lost memories. The incident reaffirmed the importance of questioning assumptions and verified facts, strengthening their resolve to uncover the truth about the city's precarious situation and the possible return of angels.[1]
