Rebuilding counters are a type of counter introduced on a Test card at the 2023 Barcelona Unknown Event.

Rebuilding counters first appeared on the Slobad, Actually Just Fine test card as part of the Planechase Unknown event. The legendary Goblin Artificer has two activated abilities related to the counter. The first sacrifices an artifact or creature to add one of the counters to Slobad while the second can then remove 3 of those counters to create a token copy of Bosh, Iron Golem. This represents Slobad rebuilding Bosh using the sacrificed artifacts and creatures.
