Richlau was a student of Tocasia, who later would become an advisor and spend time as a headmaster at the Argivian University before and during the Brothers' War on Dominaria.

Description

In 10 AR, Richlau was described as a "large boy" by Urza. Tocasia described him as being "rude about everything". He was notably older than Loran, who was a few years older than the brothers.

History

Richlau was present at Tocasia's camp in 10 AR when Urza and Mishra arrived. He immediately got into a fight with them, and Urza bloodied his nose. 10 years later, in 20 AR, he returned to the dig site after Tocasia's death and Mishra's disappearance, to oversee the striking of the camp. By 31 AR, Richlau, Sanwell and Rendall attended the newly opened school in Penregon. By 36 AR, Richlau had become the schoolmaster of the artificers' school.

As headmaster at the Argivian School of Artifice, he wore the robes of his office and surrounded himself with books, showing a fondness for thopters. He eventually also became the Master of Apprentices at the school.

Death

Richlau eventually died of natural causes in 55 AR, something Harbin, growing up entirely within the Brothers' War, had never heard of before.
