Rill is a native former survivor of Duskmourn who joined the Cult of Valgavoth.

Rill is a resilient and determined member of the Carnival's foraging team.[1] She wore a canvas-and-wallpaper coat, which had saved her life more than once, and bore the scars of many encounters with the House's horrors. Although she faced the dangers of the House bravely, her close brush with death during a raid where her team encountered a terrifying Wickerfolk left her shaken.
History[ | ]
Rill went on a foraging mission with her companions, City and Sunset.[1] They were ambushed by a Wickerfolk straying too close to the safe path, resulting in Rill suffering a deep gash on her arm. Despite the attack, the group managed to return with some valuable supplies. However, upon their return, City revealed that Duskmourn no longer needed the humans for survival and was now hunting them. City betrayed Rill and the others, revealing his allegiance to the Cult of Valgavoth. As Duskmourn's monsters overran the carnival, Rill and her companions were captured.
Rill, Sunset, and another Survivor were held by the cult in a cavern.[2] The wounded Rill finally gave in to the cultists' demands, agreeing to become one of them. Despite trying to intervene, Niko, the Wanderer, and Nashi were captured after a betrayal by Winter, who sealed them in the room with the cultists. The cult leader then used a sedative dust to knock them out.
