Rosalyn, Foggy and Pip are the mousefolk children of Mabel and Clem, living in Goodhill on the plane of Bloomburrow.
Description[ | ]
Rosalyn, Foggy, and Pip are a lively trio of mouse siblings whose contrasting personalities form a close-knit and dynamic family. Rosalyn, the eldest, stands as a pillar of stability with her responsible demeanor and thoughtful presence, often donning a vest and pants adorned with vine patterns that reflect her maturity. Foggy, the energetic middle child, is characterized by his adventurous spirit and boundless enthusiasm, frequently caught in playful mischief. Pip, the youngest and smallest, balances his tender anxieties with an eagerness for excitement, his high-pitched voice and fervent involvement adding to the lively household. Together, their spirited interactions and deep bonds create a warm, supportive home that Mabel returns to with immense relief and joy after her arduous journey.[1][2][3]
History[ | ]
Rosalyn, Foggy, and Pip, in their usual spirited fashion, caused quite a scene as they attempted to hang a hand-painted birthday banner for Mabel. Rosalyn, forming the stable base of a wobbly tower with Foggy and Pip on top, struggled to maintain balance as feet slipped, tails tangled, and tempers flared. Their bickering only added to the chaos, with Pip poking Foggy’s eye and Foggy stepping on Rosalyn’s ear, leading to frequent drops and restarts of the banner. When Mabel intervened to save them from toppling, Rosalyn brushed herself off while Clem arrived with party supplies. Despite their protests, Rosalyn took charge of the jam while Pip and Foggy argued over carrying other items, their playful quarrels underscoring their close-knit family bond.[1]
The three siblings engaged in lively activities during their mother's birthday celebration in Goodhill. Rosalyn participated in the festivities by dancing with other children. Foggy and Pip, in contrast, were full of energy and excitement; Pip clung to Rosalyn’s shoulders for balance while Foggy jumped and waved to get his mother's attention. Later, as the party progressed, Rosalyn helped tidy the kitchen with a desire to stay occupied amid the whirlwind of emotions. The children were bathed and dressed for bed, with Pip expressing his reluctance for Mabel to leave and Foggy eagerly anticipating the adventure he imagined Mabel would have.[2]
During the celebration of Mabel’s return to Goodhill, Rosalyn, Foggy, and Pip were engaged in distinct ways. Rosalyn joined in the festivities by preparing and serving baked goods, contributing to the joyful atmosphere. Pip excitedly helped with the preparations, while Foggy eagerly interacted with their guests. As the evening wore on, Rosalyn played a supportive role, ensuring that everything went smoothly, while Pip and Foggy continued to revel in the excitement, showing their affection and enthusiasm for their mother's return.[3]
Trivia[ | ]
- Two young mousefolk appear in the Bloomburrow trailer alongside Mabel. The trailer's director and concepts refer to them as "kids" and to the older mousefolk as "the brother."[4][5] The brother carries a rapier, Mabel's weapon of choice before she took up Cragflame.
