Description

Secretversary is a superdrop to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Secret Lair Drop Series. The contents of this superdrop were leaked a month early on Instagram.[3] It intoduces the Artist Series; a sub-series of drops for which a famous artist is allowed to choose four Magic cards they want to illustrate. They get "carte blanche"; total freedom to do what they want.[4]

Poem

The flavor text on Seb McKinnon's drop of cards features the following story-poem written by his brother Liam. The poem was also used in the accompanying introduction video (with the music created by Seb).[4]

"Moth to my Light
Cease resistance
Hand over the reigns
To your mind

All deeds once committed
Repaid now in kind

Tempest ends
And water stills
Gently reinventing
The shape of all things"

Bonus cards

Happy Little Gathering comes with an Evolving Wilds illustrated by Bob Ross and with one of his typical quotes.[6]
