Shiko is a spirit dragon native to the plane of Tarkir, affiliated with the Jeskai clan. She embodies the wisdom and discipline of the Jeskai Way while symbolizing the spiritual union between humans and dragons.
Origins and Nature[]
Shiko was born during the Stormnexus ritual, a mystical rite designed to summon spirit dragons to restore balance to Tarkir after the fall of the dragonlords. She was called forth by Narset, Waymaster of the Jeskai, who imbued her with a portion of her own essence: curiosity, discipline, and the will to act decisively. Shiko serves both as a "spiritual guide" for Jeskai monks and as a "mystical guardian" of eastern Tarkir. She teaches that true mastery comes from balancing thought and action, meditation and movement.
