Silver counters are a type of counter introduced in Dominaria. They are associated with the silver golem Karn and mark an exiled card that can be returned to the player's hand.
Description[ | ]
Silver counters first appeared on Karn, Scion of Urza in Dominaria. He has a loyalty ability to reveal the top two cards of a library while allowing the opponent to select one to be placed into the player's hand while the other is exiled with a Silver counter on it. Another loyalty ability can then take an exiled card with one of the counters on it and return it to the player's hand.

- In Magic Online, the counter is colored green as its considered a positive effect and shares its icon with Magnet, Mine, Mining, Ore, Pressure, Storage, Trap, and Winch counters.[1]
