Skrygix is a Gateless goblin student at Hearth Fountain Academic, an exclusive tuition-free school. Liric is her professor there in her honors history class.[1]
Description[ | ]
Skrygix is tall for a goblin, tall for her age. On the last day of school before the summer, she wore a white dress with a black frock painted across the neckline, and her shock of orange hair being moussed up into the shape of an Orzhov aristorat's headdress was the exclamation point of the ensemble.
History[ | ]
Before Professor Liric departed on the last day of school, Skrygix hurried up to chat with him and give him a scroll. It was a painting of his classroom, but with the ceiling ridiculously high, and Liric himself depicted as a bespectacled Gruul giant, crouching to fit and pointing at the board with a stick of chalk the size of a log. The drawing made Liric laugh, and he promised her he would hang it in his office at school. He opened his bag and placed the painting inside, careful to stow it in one of the rigid compartments so that it would not bend.
Noticing that her professor seemed a bit distant, Skrygix inquired about his activities during the summer. When he mentioned he would be going away for a couple of days, she asked where he would go, but he avoided answering her, merely bidding her a fun summer. She did not know that her teacher was a Dimir agent who was on a mission to erase an important memory from someone special.
Trivia[ | ]
- In the what-if story Ravnica High, an older version of Skrygix acts as a high school guide around campus.
