Starnheim is one of the ten realms of the plane of Kaldheim. It is the realm of the realm of valkyries and fallen heroes.[1] It is also Kaldheim's source of light[2], as it had no sun or moon.[3]

Description

Throughout all the realms, the Hall of Valkyries can be seen in the sky as a "sundog" effect, similar to what happens to the sun on a cold sky. It is known as the "Light of Starnheim," and denizens keep symbols that represent it.

When Niko Aris arrives at Stranheim, they see a mostly radiant plane as if before dawn, atop black mirror-like waters.[3]
