Stripland is a slang term referring to any land card that can destroy another land. The earliest and most famous of the "striplands" is Strip Mine from Antiquities, from which the slang term comes.

All striplands can be tapped for mana (usually {C}), or tapped and sacrificed to destroy another land. The exception to this pattern is Dust Bowl, where the cost of its land destruction ability allows the sacrifice of other lands instead, making it the only repeatable such effect.
