"Stripland" is a slang term referring to any land card that can be sacrificed to destroy another land. The earliest and most famous of the "striplands" is Strip Mine from Antiquities, from which the slang term comes. All of them can : Add to your mana pool.

Targeting only non-basic lands
While Strip Mine can destroy any land, later striplands had come with only non basic land destruction.
