Stroopwafel counter are a type of counter introduced on a Test card at the 2024 Unknown Event at Magiccon Amsterdam.
Description[ | ]
Stroopwafel counters first appeared on the Bag of Stroopwafels test card as part of an Unknown Event. Eight such counters would be placed upon it when cast. It then has an activated ability to pay 3 mana and remove one of the counters to gain 3 life and draw a card.[1]
Trivia[ | ]
- Stroopwafel is a popular Dutch treat so the card and counter are homages to where the event took place.
