Summertown is a town that lies on the bank of the Moen River, right outside the border of the Llanowar elfhame of Ruadach, not far from the Ironclaw Mountains. It lies on the continent of Aerona, part of the Domains on the plane of Dominaria.[1]
History[]
In c. 3800 AR, Prince Beothach of Ruadach marched his forces on the peaceful village of Summertown. Beothach hated humans and believed that the people of Summertown encroached on the border of Llanowar, even though they were on the far bank of the Moen River. Beothach and his army massacred the adults of the village and sold the children into slavery to orcs. One of these was the 16-year elf Grenfher, who managed to escape his captors and ended up marrying Beortach's sister Terena after Beothach was killed by a death spell rebounded back onto himself from her protective magic. It is unknown if there was sent a rescue mission for the captive children of Summertown, or if the village was later repopulated.[1]
