Sunset is a native survivor of Duskmourn, captured by the Cult of Valgavoth.
Description[ | ]
Sunset was a member of the carnival's foraging team that ventured into the treacherous regions of the House.[1] His name, like many other survivors', is a remnant of a forgotten time. He is practical and determined, but during a raid, Sunset returned with an injured ankle, relying on City for support. Despite his injury, he maintained a positive attitude, attempting to lift the spirits of the group with talk of their haul — wheels of cheese and jars of jam.
History[ | ]
Sunset participated in a dangerous raid into the House with Rill and City, where he and his team faced an ambush by an unexpected Wickerfolk.[1] Although injured, he returned to the carnival with the others, trying to remain upbeat about their partially successful raid. He expressed concern about the proximity of the Wickerfolk to the safe route but was ultimately caught off guard by City's betrayal. When Duskmourn's monsters attacked, Sunset was captured by the Cult of Valgavoth.
Rill, Sunset, and another Survivor were held by the cult in a cavern.[2] The wounded Rill finally gave in to the cultists' demands, agreeing to become one of them. Despite trying to intervene, Niko, the Wanderer, and Nashi were captured after a betrayal by Winter, who sealed them in the room with the cultists. The cult leader then used a sedative dust to knock them out.
