source: Wayfarer: Jared has a first confrontation with Ravidel where the mox are stolen from Kristina and the Mox Beacon activated. It's during that confrontation that he ascended. Then, only after that, the planeswalkers war began. It finished (in the unpublished comic) with another confrontation of Jared with Ravidel which also ends with crumbling monoliths (and Ravidel's death).
