Hey there, just a hint. A "post-it" note is not adhesive. It uses a glued stripe, which wears down and gets dirty over time with every removal and reattach.
Adhesive materials don't use glue, they stick to the surface due to physical effects of the material. You can even wash adhesive sticker if they get dirty, to make them sticky again.
