Tecutlan is a legendary cave located on the plane of Ixalan.
Description[ | ]
Tecutlan is a large cavern known as the Searing Rift due to being full of lava flows. It is a huge cavern crisscrossed with arching natural bridges, with thunderous falls of lava cascading down the side of its walls, bright enough to light the entire space. On some of the rocky outcroppings, stone buildings rise, while others are carved directly into large stalactites. It contains various Oltec ruins and structures including towers and face statues. Amalia, Bartolomé, and Vito followed a map that led to the caverns on their way to the Core of Paradise. They encountered Kellan who arrived via an Omenpath from Eldraine and was under attack from some pale goblins. Amalia saved and took responsibility for him as they continued their travels.[1] At some point, Beckett Brass dug into it with her Tunnel-Grinder.
