Tommy is a human, an Atiin from an unknown plane who has ended up on Thunder Junction.
Description[ | ]
After being stung by Akul, Tommy is frail but resolute. His face is gaunt, and his once-vibrant brown skin is now a pallid shade, marked by illness. His black hair is oily and thinning, especially around the sides. Every movement is labored, and he leans heavily on a cane for support. Yet, despite his obvious physical weakness, there is a fire in his eyes — a determination that contrasts sharply with his fragile body. When he speaks, his voice carries both pain and a stubborn will, indicating a deep inner strength that remains unbroken by his suffering.[1]
History[ | ]
Tommy was once a lively and healthy young man, full of energy and potential. He moved to Thunder Junction to live with his aunt, Annie Flash after some trouble on his home plane. Despite their close bond, the relationship became strained over time due to the hardships they faced together. After her gang robbed Akul and the Hellspurs, the scorpion dragon spent weeks tracking down the Freestriders and killing those that got in his way.[2]
This led to Tommy being stung by the scorpion dragon Akul, causing Tommy chronic pain. His condition worsened over time, leaving him bedridden for long periods. The illness took a heavy toll on him, both physically and emotionally, turning him into a shadow of his former self. As he grappled with the constant pain, Tommy became distant, isolating himself from Annie and the life they tried to build together. Eventually, he decided to leave Thunder Junction and return to the Atiin home plane, a place where he could find real medicine and a sense of belonging. Despite the strain, he left with no ill will toward Annie, expressing his love for her before parting ways.[1]
