Richard "Trey" Van Cleave is an American former professional player. He was one of the most successful Grand Prix players during the early days of the professional scene, with three wins in seven total top eights. His best Pro Tour result was a 21st-place finish at Pro Tour New York 1999. He was a controversial player at the time, known for the photo of him peeking at Zvi Mowshowitz' cards during a draft at Grand Prix Boston 2003,[1] for which he was banned from the game for two years, having already served a six-month suspension.[2] He returned to the Pro Tour in 2014, with appearances at PT Born of the Gods and PT Journey into Nyx; he also started streaming Magic on Twitch.
