Description[ | ]
The event cards feature playtest stickers designed by Gavin Verhey and hand-placed by Gavin and Wizards staff, looking and functioning like the test cards of the Mystery Booster set. Being playtest stickers, the cards have no art, artist credits, or Collector number, and are marked with internal card codes[1].
Test cards are not considered to be “real” cards nor are they considered silver-bordered. They were more meant as entertainment than as game pieces.[2][3] The test cards haven't undergone rules scrutiny, and Play Design hasn't tested them rigorously for balance.[4]
