Unlock counters are a type of counter introduced in Murders at Karlov Manor.[1]
Description[]
Unlock counters are used as a thematic representation of solving a cryptex. As players gather clues (collect evidence) to the code, they gain more unlock counters on their Cryptex. Five or more unlock counters grant access to the cryptex's contents.
