Vickus is described as a tall and broad-shouldered fourth-year student with pale skin and green, vine-like hair that grips his face. His emerald eyes flash vividly, and he has sharp vampire teeth. He exudes a brutish and jealous nature, often masking his insecurities with a floral scent to hide the Bog's smell. Vickus's personality is aggressive and confrontational, driven by jealousy and a desire to impress. However, he also shows potential for change and camaraderie, especially after experiencing Killian's magic.[1]

Vickus initially confronted Killian Lu, fueled by jealousy over Killian's interaction with Dina. He challenged Killian to a duel, during which he displayed his magical abilities by summoning a green, writhing tree-like form. Throughout the duel, Vickus attacked with thorny spells but was ultimately overpowered by Killian's destructive ink magic. When Killian chose to heal rather than destroy, Vickus was transformed by Killian's light magic, which instilled confidence and joy in him. Later, Vickus expressed respect and camaraderie toward Killian, acknowledging the positive impact of Killian's magic.
