War of the Spark Mythic Edition is a special War of the Spark draft-sized booster box. This product became available on the Hasbro's ebay store, only on May 1 for $249.99 and could be shipped internationally[2] for customers with a US PayPal account.[3] War of the Spark Mythic Edition was advertised as being limited to only 12,000.

War of the Spark Mythic Edition packaging
The Mythic Edition includes 24 War of the Spark boosters. Eight of these booster are clearly marked as "Masterpiece Boosters" and contain one of eight foil Masterpieces in addition to their normal rare/mythic rare card.
Each unit contains all 8 Masterpiece cards:
- Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
- Gideon Blackblade
- Jace, the Mind Sculptor
- Tezzeret the Seeker
- Garruk, Apex Predator
- Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God
- Nahiri, the Harbinger
- Sarkhan Unbroken
The Masterpieces use the expansion symbol and code that were also used for Guilds of Ravnica Mythic Edition and Ravnica Allegiance Mythic Edition .

The Masterpiece boosters also contain an appropriate token or emblem:
3/3 Beast creature with deathtouch, with Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, Gideon Blackblade and Jace, the Mind Sculptor, but used for Garruk, Apex Predator
4/4 Dragon creature with flying for Sarkhan Unbroken, but also found with Tezzeret the Seeker, Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God and Nahiri, the Harbinger- Emblem for Garruk, Apex Predator
Sale issues[ | ]
On May 1, 2019, Wizards of the Coast launched the sale of this set on their eBay Hasbro Store. All 12,000 units sold out within five minutes, causing various problems with customers who couldn't pay and others who did pay but had their order cancelled.[4][5] In response, eBay gave a gift card to customers whose War of the Spark Mythic Edition orders were cancelled and Wizards promised to send "something special" to those customers as well.[6]
This was a repeat of the events when the sales of the Guilds of Ravnica Mythic Edition broke down the Hasbro site, and disappointed customers received a free Ultimate Box Topper. This time around, disappointed customers received an uncut foil print sheet of Mythic and Rare cards from War of the Spark.[7][8]
