Her presence commands great respect, reflecting both the strength and resilience of Zhalfir in the face of unprecedented threats. Wezna’s demeanor contains both stern authority and deep empathy, balanced by a profound sense of responsibility. Her strategic thinking and cautious approach are evident in her measured responses and decisions, prioritizing the safety of her people even amid overwhelming dangers. In the face of the Phyrexian invasion, Wezna inspires confidence and courage, offering guidance and solace to her warriors and allies. Her leadership is marked by a commitment to both the survival of her kingdom and the protection of its values, always prepared to make difficult choices for the greater good.[1][3]

History[]

Queen Wezna had summoned Teferi and Jabari to Aku, the ancient city, in a state of high alert. Upon their arrival, Teferi learned that Kaervek had escaped his prison and that General Mageta had been injured, leading to heightened tension within the Amber Tombs. Wezna's response was both stern and decisive: she tasked Jabari with leading the army until the general's recovery and prepared to address the situation with the Wanderer, another Planeswalker who had arrived in Zhalfir. The queen revealed the Wanderer to Teferi, using an amber prison to release her from stasis. Despite the Wanderer's distressed state and the dire news about New Phyrexia's invasion, Wezna remained resolute, rallying her forces and setting the stage for a coordinated response to the looming threat.[1]

Queen Wezna stood resolute in the face of the Phyrexian threat, embodying the strength and wisdom expected of a leader of Zhalfir. When Wrenn and Eight opened a portal to her plane, revealing the dire situation on New Phyrexia, Wezna's caution led her to initially question the arrival of this strange visitor. However, reassured by Teferi, she quickly recognized the gravity of the situation. Understanding the need for swift action, Wezna rallied her people, leading an army of warriors and mages through the portal to aid in the battle against the Phyrexians. Her decisive leadership ensured that Zhalfir stood ready to face the horrors on the other side, uniting her forces to confront the enemy and defend the multiverse from the advancing Phyrexian horde.[3]
