History

Yolotzin was a revered figure from a bygone era, bearing the prestigious title of warrior-poet. Born into a tumultuous time when the Sun Empire was nascent and expansive, her early life was marked by profound tragedy. Her village was conquered, and her family was killed, but her linguistic skills and beautiful voice led to her being taken to the capital. As she matured, she earned the title of warrior-poet from the emperor, serving as the imperial conscience. Yolotzin was driven by a long-standing desire for revenge against those who destroyed her village. She became the moral and artistic voice of the empire, using her position to influence and inspire. When she passed away, the empire mourned deeply. The streets were said to have been flooded with tears, and the emperor wandered the halls of Tocatli, mourning her loss and seeking her ghost for just one more stanza of her poetry.
