Zilgeth was the leader of Clan Ruby in Storgard in the Ice Age of Dominaria.
When a Johtull Wurm attacked Storgard he sacrificed himself to fend off the creature with an Incinerate spell.[1] After his death and burial, Freyalise became the new leader of Clan Ruby.

It is told in the comic that Zilgeth aspired to be a planeswalker.[1] In prerevisionist sources, every wizard could become a planeswalker if they mastered the relevant spells.
